What is the difference between 330i and 328i? The engine note on the 330i is much, much improved over the 328i. It sounds more like a 6 cylinder at lower rpms. The transmission seems more happily mated to the engine in Comfort mode on the 330i. Oddly, the Sport mode didn’t seem to change the driving dynamics in the 330i as much as the 328i.
