In my situation I am using a Samsung Evo Plus 128gb, which is shown on the compatible list with the Hero 7 Black. I have a Sessions 4 GoPro and even though it's not on the compatible list for that, the card is detected and works fine, so there is definitely an issue with this Samsung Evo Plus card with the Hero 7.

September 16, 2023 at 7:50 AM. Gopro Hero 2 Black Screen. My Gopro hero 2 stopped working. I can get it to show this black screen just when plugged to pc or when is plugged in to a charger. When is just the battery plugged in, it becomes hot like it consumes the battery and it doesent do anything, I tried everything but nothing, im stucked.
The Hero 9 said it updated, the back screen is STILL BLACK, and non responsive. the camera wants me to open the app, but the app can not find the camera and the camera can not find the app, this all seen on the front screen. On vacation our HERO10 Black screen started displaying a set of horizontal lines and then eventually went black. It appears the backlight is on. I tried a factory reset and manual update of the firmware but that did not help. Is there anything else I can try?
HERO6 Black, HERO5 Black, HERO (2018) Press [Mode] on the side of your camera to power it on. Swipe down > tap [Preferences]. Scroll down to the end of the menu and tap on [Factory Reset]. Factory reset resets your GoPro to factory state and unregisters it from the GoPro Plus account. Tap [Reset] to continue. A grey spinning logo will appear.

I did the manual update like eight times and it’s still not responsive, it charges, turns on, records, but with the screen blacked out I have no idea what I’m shooting, and cannot change the presets. This is total BS because I just got this a week ago this is January 7, 2022 at 9:39 PM. The front screen is not working for me. Is it possible to turn off the front screen in the settings? Because it does not work for me and I do not know if it is a defect or I just clicked something in the settings. I bought the camera recently, the screens are not yet removed. Please help. O7Aq1Bm.
