The CPU usage skyrockets when I go through a portal and /tick health from Carpet Mod reports the following changes (first is before and then while/after going through a portal): - this is with only one player online

Portals were ported to the same system and this is stored seperately from the chunk data. You purging the chunk without purging its POI data makes the game still believe there are portalblocks in the chunk. MarcHaden. fredster231 • 3 yr. ago. I think the old portal POI still exists. Try putting 6 composters where the portal blocks (not

There are two major kinds of portals in Minecraft: The Nether Portal and the End Portal. To make a Nether Portal, you'll need at least 10 obsidian blocks and some way to light them on fire.
So, I made a portal in a village then later decided to move base to a cave nearby ~100 blocks away, so I destroyed the portal in the village and created a new one in the cave. This new one took me to the exact same place in the nether and when I re-entered the portal it took me back to the village but not exactly in the same position as the RESPONSE: I am not riding or transporting any mobs i am alone, i am not in sneak mode. I downloaded a local copy of the realm and had the same issue. I can stand in the nether portal for an indefinite amount of time and no animation happens at all for transport. I had minecraft and realm closed overnight on my pc and just logged in to try again. When i enter nether portal, and when i go back it shoud go to the same portalthat i enter in. What behaviour is observed: when i enter nether portal it work, but when i go back it randomly created a portal far from the original portal. Steps/models to reproduce: Blank Server, running paper 170 make a nether portal. Plugin list: Skinrestorer Looking for a fabric mod that records nether portals in a text file similar to stash finder on meteor or salhack. very straightforward, can't find anything lol. all I want is to be able to run on baritone, use portal finder and record the portals for later investigation. Forgot to mention preferably 1.16.X but i can use 1.12 and up. Both portals go to the original nether portal location but when going back to the overworld, will always spawn at the second portal and not the original. My server is running spigot 1.16.5 and is using the MV core, portal, inv, and nether portal plugins. I have tried linking the nether portals to the world in hopes of circumventing this issue The only thing I can think of is that you have "allow-nether=false" instead of "allow-nether=true" in your server.properties Reply InsertNameHere758 •

I was going to do a nether section but the portals don't seem to be working. Information: It will spawn me at 0 0 in the nether and I can fly over to the world border from there in the nether. The portal was within the border but it put me over at 0 0, the bigger the world border the closer it brings me to where it should be taking me. Doesn't seem like this will really go anywhere, instead I suggest changing the following parameters in paper.yml: portal-search-radius: 64. portal-create-radius: 8. That's what I did and it's working well enough. The gem of Minecraft networks: meta-union.com.
Entities should pass through Nether Portals. I feel this would not be too difficult and in the end would be a huge improvement in making the Nether useful beyond just obtaining Potion materials and Fast Travel. When an Entity (such as a Cow, Minecart, Ghast) comes in contact with a Nether Portal they will pass through into the appropriate
3. From the wiki, the only ways to deactivate a nether portal are explosions or pouring a water bucket directly into the portal. If you don't want to have anything explode, it looks like you will not be able to deactivate it with redstone. One option, if you want to try using TNT without destroying anything nearby, you can use obsidian to Dim 1 is for Nether. Check if it's there. I guess in either case whether it's there or not you'll want to replace it. Create a new world and go to the nether, then copy that world's dim 1 over. You could use the same world seed if you liked your old nether. I'm unaware of a way to get your old nether back functioning sorry. QYSgA.
