jm-9 • 3 yr. ago. These are old PC controls. The mouse is pretty much useless in a vehicle. On foot the mouse determines what direction you look in. There might be a mod to allow GTA IV-style controls. Alternatively, at least in classic controls there's a button to look behind. It's not 360-degree control, but it's better than nothing.

The down arrow makes you go backwards (or brake) The 9 key makes you lean forwards (useful to go faster or to do stoppies) The 6 key makes you lean backwards. I'm on Windows 7, and my version of VC is the latest one from Steam. Chrck your mouse sensitivity from windows settings. That's got nothing to do with it. The vertical sensitivity (y-axis) is completely out of sync with horizontal (x), and the in-game setting only affects the horizontal sensitivity - it doesn't even touch the vertical one.
